An epic crossover comes to an end, not an April Fool's joke

It is with heavy heart that the epic crossover between the Awakening Series by C.A. Michaels and Shattered Hearts Series by Author T.H. Rose, has come to an abrupt end. I'm not sure what exactly happened but Author T. H. Rose and I decided it wasn't working for some reason. We are still friends, but the I think I was pushing out too many books with Dawn and her character. What can I say, Dawn has had a lot to tell lately lol.

Does that mean it's the end for Dawn Hudson and the team? Hell to the no! I just had to rewrite all 6 books. Well, not totally rewrite them but I had to change many of the characters we have grown to love. So, I did just that over the last two weeks. I created a new character; her name is Rachel Clark.

Rachel is a reporter for the Starling Times. She decided to go undercover off the books to investigate the Starling Black Triads when Jacbo went missing. Her father, Larry, worked with Dawn's sister, Bonnie. He was an assistant detective for her. He was killed and so was her mom. The mystery surrounding their deaths still remains a mystery. But our new resident bad guy, Dimitri Thomas McQuade, might be behind it. Well, he is in fact behind it as it comes out throughout the books. Just like Dawn solving her mom's death. This has been fun and a challenge to write.

Chris' story may change too. He and Beth are still together but it's strained with how he can't mention her. Not sure if that relationship will go the distance. Beth is acting weird right now. So, we will have to wait and see.

March was hell. I got my first hater, almost made me want to give up totally on everything. But I have prevailed. I think I'm stronger now and I refuse to go out just cause someone said I can't have a brown sky in Starling or have buildings on my lakes lol I almost deleted this entire website. I deleted many blog posts, hence why they are all out of whack now. but i save it all between two external hard drive crashes, the new laptop taking a few dumps as well. Ugh, but I did it. I finished Rising Dawn last night and wow it went smooth. Same with Vanished. But they are all done. I'll be republishing them on Barnes and Noble today.
